Services

I believe that medication is a starting point, not a finish line, and that real healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully heard. I treat the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, because every patient who walks through my door carries a whole life with them, and it is my job to understand all of it before I can help change any of it.

Conditions I Treat

I work with adults and preteens through older adults who are struggling with:

  • Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Panic Disorder

  • Social Anxiety Disorder

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Bipolar Spectrum Disorders

  • Schizophrenia

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

If you are unsure whether your symptoms fit one of these categories, that is okay. Part of our work together is figuring out what is actually going on so we can build the right plan for you.

Treatment Modalities

Medication Management

Most patients first come to see me for medication, and I take that responsibility seriously. I walk you through the first line treatments for your diagnosis, the benefits and the risks, the FDA warnings, and how each option might interact with your life. I will not rush you through a five minute appointment and send you home with a three month supply. I want you to actually understand what you are taking and why.

Supportive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Most patients first come to see me for medication, and I take that responsibility seriously. I walk you through the first line treatments for your diagnosis, the benefits and the risks, the FDA warnings, and how each option might interact with your life. I will not rush you through a five minute appointment and send you home with a three month supply. I want you to actually understand what you are taking and why.

Nutraceuticals and Supplements

For patients who have already trialed several medications, or who are sensitive to them, supplements can play a meaningful supportive role. I review your bloodwork with you and may recommend Vitamin D, a Vitamin B complex, fish oil with DHA and EPA for mood, or magnesium glycinate to support sleep and anxiety. Low vitamin levels can quietly drain your mood, your energy, and your motivation, and patients often think they are just stuck when their body is actually missing something basic.

Patient Education on Diet, Exercise, and Substances

A healthy lifestyle has a real effect on mood, and we will talk about it at every visit. Some psychiatric medications can cause metabolic side effects, so we will pay attention to that together. Substances like cannabis, nicotine, and alcohol can interact with your medications, increase your anxiety, and reduce how well your treatment is working. I want you to have the full picture so the choices you make outside our appointments are actually helping you.

Laboratory Testing

Bloodwork is a quiet but essential part of safe psychiatric care. Some medications need ongoing monitoring to prevent toxicity. Some patients have not seen a primary care provider in years and have unchecked vitamin deficiencies or metabolic changes. Prevention matters to me, and lab testing is how we stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them.
